Index of Villages for Electing Indigenous Inhabitant Representatives

(1) The Director shall-
(a) keep at the Director's office the Index; and
(b) during the ordinary business hours of that office, make at least one copy of the Index available for inspection by members of the public free of charge.
(2) If the Director is satisfied that-
(a) an entry in the Index is incorrect;
(b) an entry in the Index ought to be removed; or
(c) an additional entry ought to be made in the Index,
the Director may, with the approval of the Secretary, correct the entry, remove the entry or make the additional entry, as may be appropriate.
(3) If the Director certifies in writing that the particulars of a village by which the village is identified as shown in the Index or as contained in any record described in the Index, or both, are as specified in the certificate, the certificate is conclusive evidence of those particulars for any purpose related to an election.
