(1) A representative person appointed in relation to a ship (not being the owner of the ship) who intends to cease acting as the representative person shall-

(a) give notice in writing of his intention to the owner or demise charterer of the ship; and
(b) deposit with the Registrar a declaration that he has given such notice.
