For the purpose of regulation 41, a person shall be deemed to be qualified in the operational use of automatic radar plotting aids if he holds-

(a) a valid Electronic Navigation Systems Certificate granted by the Director; or
(b) a valid Navigation Control Certificate granted by the Director; or
(c) a valid Automatic Radar Plotting Aids Certificate granted by the Director; or
(d) a certificate recognized by the Director as being equivalent to any of the certificates mentioned in paragraph (a), (b) or (c).
