(1) No person, other than an officer of the Regional Services Department, shall in any public cemetery, dig or fill in any grave without the consent of the officer in charge of the cemetery, and, where such consent is given, the work shall be carried out in accordance with the directions, and subject to the supervision, of such officer. (2) Save with the consent in writing of the Council and in accordance with any conditions or restrictions which it may impose on the grant thereof, no person shall, in any public cemetery, construct any vault, burial niche or other place of interment, not being a grave. (10 of 1986 s. 32(2))
