(1) While a Hong Kong ship which is required to be fitted with a radar installation is at sea and a radar watch is being kept, the radar installation shall be under the control of a qualified radar observer, who may be assisted by unqualified personnel.
(2) In every such ship a record shall be kept in the deck log book of the times at which radar watch is commenced and discontinued.
