Branches and various undertakings of trade unions to be reported to the Registrar

(1) Notification of-
(a) every branch of a registered trade union;
(b) every business or charitable, cultural, educational or medical undertaking which is operated by or in the name of a trade union; and
(c) any change in the address of such branch, or business or charitable, cultural, educational or medical undertaking,
shall be made to the Registrar in writing, together with such particulars as the Registrar may require, by the trade union within 14 days after the establishment of or change of address of such branch, or business or charitable, cultural, educational or medical undertaking. (2) If a branch of a registered trade union or such a business or charitable, cultural, educational or medical undertaking as is mentioned in subsection (1) ceases after notification to the Registrar, to exist or to be operated by or in the name of a registered trade union, the trade union shall report the fact to the Registrar in writing within 30 days thereafter.
(3) A registered trade union that contravenes this section shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine of $200.
