A Scheme member is not required under section 6G(2) or 6H(2)(a) or (b) to notify a person in respect of a deposit qualified for protection by the Scheme maintained, placed or to be placed by the person if the deposit is or is to be¡X

(a) held for the account of the Exchange Fund; or
(b) held by an excluded person as defined in section 3 of Schedule 1 to the Ordinance.
