In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires-
"Commissioner" (署長) means the Commissioner of Correctional Services of Hong Kong or a Deputy Commissioner; (Replaced 7 of 1956 s. 2. Amended L.N. 30 of 1982; 15 of 1999 s. 3)
"court" (法庭) means the Court of First Instance or the District Court or a permanent or special magistrate; (Amended 92 of 1975 s. 59; 25 of 1998 s. 2)
"functions" (職能) includes powers and duties;
"judge" (法官) includes a judge of the District Court.
