Ships of Class II(A) of less than 21.34 metres in length
Every ship of Class II(A) of less than 21.34 metres in length shall be provided with a hand pump having a permanent sea connection and a hose with 2 nozzles. One such nozzle shall be 10 millimetres diameter. The pump shall be capable through such hose and nozzle of producing a jet of water which can be directed onto any part of the ship. All nozzles shall be a dual-purpose nozzle. Such pump shall be situated outside the machinery spaces.
