(1) In every ship of Class II(A) of 15.24 metres in length or over but of less than 21.34 metres in length each space containing internal combustion type propulsion machinery shall be provided with at least 5 portable fire extinguishers suitable for extinguishing oil fires; and in every such ship of less than 15.24 metres in length each space shall be provided with at least 3 such portable fire extinguishers. (2) Every ship of Class II(A) of 15.24 metres in length or over but of less than 21.34 metres in length shall comply with regulations 15(3) and 15(4) as they apply to Class II(A) of less than 21.34 metres. (L.N. 411 of 1995)
